Rainbow I Spy - Second Top Finished

I finished up the second top last night. With all the donations I've received, I didn't have to make any filler blocks for this top.

Rainbow I Spy Quilt Top
I spy dolls, bugs, clothesline, an egg, a boat, flowers, and ducks

Here's a closer look at the blocks:

These tops are coming together fast but I am running out of blocks. If you have a few minutes to spare, I would love it if you could make a block or two for this drive. I will be collecting until October 30th.

Happy Quilting!

  1. I love the second top too! These are all going to be such fun quilts! I'll start working on some more blocks today - any color requests?

  2. Great quilt! What are the specifics for making blocks? I'm new to this group so haven't seen anything about size, color, etc.

  3. I found your blog yesterday and I was able to pull some fabric from my stash last night for a couple of pink blocks I am going to send you for Phase 2 of your drive.
I was wondering - are there any colors that you need? Like maybe everyone sends pink but you aren't recieving many yellows or something like that? If you have a color that you need I would try to pull that color from my stash.
Thanks for hosting this block drive!

  4. Hi Liz!

I don't have a better way of contacting you because you are a no-reply commenter. Hopefully you're reading this!

For you and for anyone else wondering what colors I'm low on...

Right now I could use any of the following colors:

    yellow
grass green (not lime or dark/olive)
    Aqua
    blue (not navy)
    teal
    purple
dark pink (not light pink or peach)

I'm still have a few blocks of

    orange
    red
    lime green
    light pink

Any block is fine to send right now though because there's still plenty of time to donate.

Thanks so much for your willingness to help with this drive! Your generosity is greatly appreciated!

  5. Yep, I'm reading...
I have some Parisville in my stash that would be perfect for the dark pink. And I bet if I look I've got a bunch of grass greens I can work into a block also. I'm on it!
I'm still going to make the light pink blocks I pulled last night though - I'll start there.
