Cupcakes

Head on over to the Cupcake Blog and check out the cupcake potholders I made for Kelly as her bonus gift in the For the Love of Solids flickr swap!
Kelly also received a HST wall hanging from me featuring her favorite Kona solid, Pomegranate

and some other goodies like binding, fabric scraps, fancy pink trim, a pink gel pen, some pink variegated thread, and some leftovers from the quilt so she can make something to match.

I did some of my fanciest quilting to date on this mini because I really wanted to stretch my FMQ skills a little. The center has some circles and the rest of the quilt has wavy lines.

I love that little mini - the colours are gorgeous and aren't you a clever clogs quilter. Just beautiful.....and don't get me started on the pot holders...cupcake anything is a favourite!
